Enablence has developed a significant library of optical subcomponents on chip:
2x2 splitters can achieve better than 1.5% split ratio accuracy over a wide wavelength range, such as the entire C-band.
Low loss fiber-to-waveguide structure enables the PLC chips to couple with single mode fibers.
Excellent phase control of waveguides to enhance AWG performance.
Low PDL, and polarization maintaining designs available.
Low material loss, typically 1 dB/m. Can operate in O-band or C-band.
With these capabilities, Enablence PLC is an excellent platform for optical hybrid, automotive LIDAR, and optical coherence tomography, laser wavelength lockers, etc…
