DWDM

Enablence has developed many different types of DWDM chip in its high-contrast process, combining a sophisticated arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) design with a quality fabrication. The AWG layout is compatible with mechanical athermalization packaging techniques. The AWG design provides low loss over the industrial temperature range. The PLC material has been qualified for Damp Heat (85/85) and other industry standard reliability requirements.

Different grid pitches and mechanical footprints are available, depending on demand. This includes 100 GHz pitch, 50 GHz pitch, 75 GHz pitch, Gaussian lineshape, and flat-top lineshape.

The DWDM are available in curved- or rectangular-cut chips and athermal DWDM modules.
