Tom Nguyen
Director of Manufacturing
Tom Nguyen joins Enablence with more than 38 years of semiconductor and photonics experience. He started his career at Intel Corp. While serving as one of the research engineers in the Intel Santa Clara inter-connection R&D team, he developed all lithography processes for Intel's C4, TAB, and MCM technologies. During 14 years with Intel, he received the highest Intel Achievement Award (IAA) and 9 California Technology Manufacturing Division (CTM) Achievement Awards.
Tom left Intel to start Scion Photonics, one of the first photonics companies in the Silicon Valley area, which was acquired by JDSU and later became Lumentum. During 20 years with Lumentum, he was the Litho process development engineer who had a major contribution to Lumentum’s PLC Fab. He received a US patent for Low Insertion Loss design improvement.
Prior to joining Enablence, Tom served as COO and co-founder of Siphx SV Inc. Tom graduated from Santa Clara Heald College with a degree in Electronics Technology.
